DC day 3

We started the day with breakfast in Alexandria at Bread and Chocolate.

And took the metro to Natural History. Boys are now commuting pros and Even wants to spend tomorrow riding the lines he hasn't yet tried...

Next up, Nationals game. Sun was brutal!

So drained, we went back to national harbor for dinner at yummy granite City brewery.

DC Vacation Day 2

Our first full day was FULL. My step tracker has me at over 8 miles before 7pm.

We started off with some difficulty since there's work being done on the local station for the metro. But we arrived with no problems really.

We were really hungry, finding little but Dunkin near our airbnb so we grabbed something quick at a really good waffle shop. It was rainy so we did a big modification on our itinerary.

Since breakfast was so near and the weather so poor, we did the tour of Fords Theater.

Just like that, lunchtime. We had really good sandwiches at a small chain called Taylor's.

Next, still raining, we went to Air and Space. The boys seemed to enjoy it, but its not my fave. We did all try freeze dried ice cream.

We realized E had hit his museum point and needed movement. Luckily, the rain had passed so we hit the mall...

Vacation 2017-- DC!

Somehow I didn't blog vacation 2016, which included two awesome trips.

This year, after moving, we decided to go lower key. The boys suggested DC.

We booked an airbnb at the end of the Green Line.

After

 Dinner was at the Walrus...
