First and second week of school!

A's first week of school went great! We somehow missed transition week, so he spent the week in his old room with his old friends and old teacher. He did fantastic. I was so optimistic that the school transition would be a breeze!

Alas, our first day of the second week brought about a different boy. On the first day, he cried when I left him. The rest of the week, he cried every morning, and most afternoons at pickup too. The only day that went well was Friday. Due to car troubles, Daddy left for work a little later than normal so A got to spend a little time with him. I think that might have made the difference.

Otherwise, things are going well here, with back to school being a smooth transition for all of us.
