I haven't seen this boy wave in what feels like ages. And his smiles have been more of the "Please stop bothering me" variety of late. Yesterday, though, all that changed.
We both went to get him from daycare yesterday. In the car, he started to click his tongue, and then smiled when I asked if he learned that in school. I started doing it back at him, and he started to CRACK UP. When we got home, he was just in stitches for one reason or another. After his prebedtime nap, he started waving at his Daddy. It was a different kind of wave; just the wrist side to side instead of the whole hand.
Then, as we were cleaning up before bed, he started clapping.
I guess he is feeling better!
